ADHOC REPORTING

Reporting Workbench delivers real-time ad hoc inquiry capabilities in an architecturally integrated package for Oracle E-Business Suite. Discoverer Migration

Oracle Discoverer used to be a smart ad hoc query and analysis reporting tool for your business’ enterprise resource planning (ERP). But security issues, sluggish performance, and better ad hoc reporting tools led to Oracle’s public statement in January 2009 encouraging its E-Business Suite users to migrate from Discoverer.

As of June 30, 2017, Oracle discontinued its extended support for Discoverer. This means Oracle will not be responsible if customers are unable to run Discoverer reports after upgrading to a new browser, or after applying any mandatory Operating System or Oracle patches.
